The BEARSHOUSE is at the 3rd floor of a typical neo-renaissance style florentine building.
The house is in the middle of the trade neighbourhood of Via Gioberti, where you can find good restaurants, cafeterias and all kind of shops.

The neighbourhood is quiet even if close to the centre and to the most important routes from and to the city.
You can see the famous Florentine hills (sights on Piazzale Michelangelo on the South and Fiesole on the North) from our windows.

You can walk to the most important monuments of the centre of the town enjoying a typical florentine atmosphere created by markets like Sant'Ambrogio and the Fleamarket of Piazza dei Ciompi and magnificent historical buldings.
You can easily walk to:

Santa Croce, 12 minutes
Duomo di Santa Maria del Fiore, 18 minutes
Piazza della Signoria, 18 minutes
Uffizi, 18 minutes
Ponte Vecchio, 20 minutes
Palazzo Pitti, 25 minutes

You can also walk to the most recommanded gay bars of the town:

Gay Bar CRISCO, 15 minutes
Gay Bar YAG, 12 minutes
Gay Bar PICCOLO, 13 minutes
Gay Bar TABASCO, 18 minutes

You can reach the Santa Maria Novella Central Railway Station and the most important monuments of the town taking buses 14 and 6 (each passing by every 8 to 10 minutes).

Both the guest rooms of the BEARSHOUSE have original 19th century furnitures, silk curtains and vintage decorations.
All rooms have original early 20th century tiled floors.

We serve breakfast in an ancient kitchen with stove, cowl and sinks, furnished with ancient typical, and original, italian tiled.

The bathroom, with gres mosaic flooring, has a lavabo, wc, bidet and an ample shower box. all contents © 2005 - contacts top
